Villavicencio

Villavicencio is located in the Piedemonte of the eastern cordillera, on the bank of the Guatiquía river. The weather in the city is an average of 27 ° C all year round, with a high humidity.
On the other hand, the city is divided into two geographical regions: a mountain region, to the west and northeast of the municipality, being the side of the eastern mountain range of Colombia; and the plain region, which corresponds to the beginning of the Piedemonte llanero.

The city limits are: to the north are the municipalities of Restrepo and El Calvario; to the east the municipality called Puerto López; to the south Acacías and San Carlos de Guaroa, and to the west is the department of Cundinamarca.

Villavicencio se encuentra ubicada en el llamado Piedemonte de la Cordillera Oriental, en la orilla del río Guatiquía.El clima en la ciudad es de un promedio de 27°C todo el año, con una humedad de gran relevancia.
Por otra parte, la cuidad está dividida en dos regiones geográficas: una montañosa, al occidente y nororiente del municipio, siendo el costado de la cordillera oriental de Colombia; y la región planicie, que corresponde al comienzo del piedemonte llanero. 

Los límites de la ciudad son: al norte se ubican los municipios de Restrepo y El Calvario; al oriente el municipio llamado Puerto López, al sur Acacías y San Carlos de Guaroa, y al occidente se sitúa el departamento de Cundinamarca.
Del mismo modo, cabe resaltar que Villavicencio cuenta con fuentes hídricas de gran relevancia, que son: al norte por el río Guatiquía, al sur por el río Guayuriba, en la parte central los ríos Ocoa y Negro, además de otros caños aunque de menor tamaño.
